Driving excellence and generating impact in clinical research in Portugal
The IC&IB performance indicators represent a strategic milestone for the Clinical Research Sites (CRSs) within healthcare institutions. Developed with the aim of promoting operational efficiency, strengthening the national research network, and positioning Portugal as an international reference in the field of biomedical research, these indicators serve as an essential tool to enhance the quality and competitiveness of clinical research in the country.
Map of Clinical Trials launched in the EU
The Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS)️ launched an interactive map, on March 3 2025, designed to facilitate access to information about clinical trials in the European Union.
This map allows users to search for ongoing Clinical Trials by location and medical condition, as well as access investigator contact details to learn how to participate.
