Wednesday 19, November 2025

Portugal Clinical Studies participated in the Innovating Health Together Conference 2025, one of the most significant events in the healthcare sector, organized by Health Cluster Portugal on October 28 and 29, 2025. With over 700 participants from 27 nationalities, the conference was themed “Tech-enabled prevention for a better future” and became the epicenter of transformative ideas.

The event served as a platform for discussions on the latest advancements in precision medicine, preventive care, digital solutions, digital twins, decentralized clinical trials, value-based healthcare, and the integration of artificial intelligence and robotics into clinical practice.

National and international experts emphasized the urgency of a paradigm shift, centered on a value-based healthcare model. The need to bring prevention closer to communities, develop tools tailored to patient needs, strengthen healthcare infrastructures, promote system interoperability, and explore the potential of artificial intelligence to accelerate medical discoveries was also highlighted.

In the main auditorium, the session "Advancing European Precision Medicine Through Ecosystem Interconnectivity" featured the participation of the President of AICIB - Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation Agency, Nuno Sousa, Jordi Serrano Pons (P8Health), Julio Oliveira (Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto (IPO-Porto)), iLoF, and Kristina Eskenazi (Health and Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria - BioCluster.bg).

During the Brokerage Event, Ana Rita Pinto from AICIB (Delegate and National Contact Point - NCP for the health sector under the Digital Europe Programme) welcomed individuals seeking more information about European health funding programs.

Thank you to everyone who visited us at the stand and showed interest in our new platform, Portugal Clinical Studies®. The feedback received was very positive, and we will consider your opinions to better respond to your concerns and needs.

More than technology, the future and progress of healthcare require work in building trust, increasing community adoption of innovative solutions, and a firm commitment to the sustainability of systems.
