Europacolon Portugal

Europacolon Portugal is a Non-Profit Association dedicated to supporting patients with digestive cancer, survivors, families, and caregivers.

Founded 20 years ago, the Association works to ensure that all people, regardless of their socioeconomic status, have access to information, screening, early diagnosis, and appropriate treatments.

Our work seeks to reduce the impact of digestive cancer in Portugal, one of the leading causes of mortality in the country.

Our mission focuses on improving the quality of life for patients and families affected by digestive cancer, promoting access to adequate care, reliable information, support, and health policies that encourage prevention and screening.

One of our main objectives is to reduce the incidence and mortality of digestive cancer in Portugal by increasing health literacy, advocating for better screening and early diagnosis policies, and ensuring multidisciplinary support for patients and caregivers.
