Local Health Unit of Santa Maria

The Lisbon Academic Medical Center (CAML) has a unique potential for promoting clinical and translational research, which stems from the combination of the capabilities of its three constituent institutions (Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte, CHULN; Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, FMUL; Instituto de Medicina Molecular- João Lobo Antunes, IMM) and the recognized international merit of many of its researchers.

Located at CHULN, Hospital de Santa Maria, the CAML Clinical Research Center aims to promote and facilitate the development of clinical research within CAML, improve scientific, biomedical, and clinical knowledge at CHULN, enhance international collaboration and fundraising for research, increase the visibility of CHULN as a clinical study center, and foster partnerships with other institutions.
