CUF Academic Center

The CUF Academic Center offers a highly specialized approach in the areas of Training, Education, Research, and Simulation in healthcare.

The CUF Academic Center is responsible for the research conducted at CUF, whether through clinical trials or independent research projects. 
This activity largely involves attracting Clinical Trials, which are crucial for the development and prominence of CUF clinical centers, as well as promoting the development of Translational and Research projects.

Research Center
The CUF Academic Center has three Research Centers located at the CUF Descobertas, Tejo, and Porto hospitals.

The Research Center's main goal is to contribute to scientific development, both by attracting and conducting Clinical Trials and by supporting investigator-initiated research projects.

The Center provides investigators and sponsors with all necessary conditions to carry out their research projects. This close and ongoing contact with scientific innovation ensures the constant updating of our professionals and their clinical practices, offering clients highly sophisticated therapies/devices.

Research is, therefore, fundamental in delivering excellent healthcare services in a safe and effective manner.
